San Antonio Living History Memebership Form

(BACKGROUND) The San Antonio Living History Association (SALHA) is a non-profit corporation under IRS Section 501(c)(3). All SALHA contributions and dues are tax deductible. The all volunteer corporation has a Constitution, Bylaws and Event Liability Insurance for Members. SALHA annually promotes Heritage Tourism in San Antonio and has been recognized by the San Antonio City Council, the San Antonio Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Offices of Cultural Affairs as a community resource

Our goal is to promote better understanding of San Antonio's rich heritage using authentic skills and art of living history interpretative theater at schools, civic venues, and historic sites in San Antonio and Texas. Living history interpretative theater is an educational storytelling process that incorporates multiple art genre including theater, music, drama, dance, visual and apparel arts. The objectives of SALHA interpretive programs are to educate, engage, and entertain audiences while enhancing their historical experiences. As such, we look for active members who are interested in participating in various SALHA Events through out the year.

The San Antonio Living History Association has prepared a membership form that will be used by all re-enactors and other memebers who participate in or contribute in any way to the 176th Anniversary Alamo Events. The information provided must be reviewed, filled out, and then sent back or emailed to SALHA Headquarters before the event. To ensure that we promote a better understanding of San Antonio's rich heritage using authentic skills and art of living history interpretative theater we require all re-enactors to also review the event registration, documentation to see what time & dates activities are scheduled. With your co-operation we expect to improve the registration process and look forward to your safe participation.
